
Katherine Hines, MD, FACOG
Dr. Katherine Neuffer Hines is a fellowship-trained urogynecologist. Originally from Columbia, SC, Dr. Hines attended the University of Virginia, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree. She then returned to South Carolina and earned her Doctor of Medicine at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. She graduated magna cum laude and was awarded the Dr. Preston A. Jones Memorial Scholarship for excellence in academics. Dr. Hines was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society in March 2014. She completed her OB/GYN Residency at Wake Forest Baptist Health and served as Chief Resident. She then remained at Wake Forest for her fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.
As a fellowship-trained urogynecologist, Dr. Hines has received advanced multidisciplinary training in the management of complex pelvic floor disorders, including overactive bladder, urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, bladder pain syndrome, etc. She has been trained in surgical reconstruction using vaginal and robotic-assisted techniques. Dr. Hines is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. Hines and her local physician husband have two young children. They enjoy spending time outside as a family. Dr. Hines is passionate about helping the women of Hampton Roads improve their daily quality of life.
